Ranchito Cascabel
It is an incredible set of surrealist buildings and a venue for events of organic shapes, populated by giant sculptures of rattlesnakes and other zoomorphic and anthropomorphic figures built by artist and owner Tim Sullivan, inspired by Antoni Gaudi, creator of La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain.
- Ranchito Cascabel is a place to get lost among its labyrinthine architecture and a surreal landscape populated by animals and other mythical beings.
How did Ranchito Cascabel come about?
Tim Sullivan, originally from San Antonio, TX, built this fantastic organic architectural complex over a period of more than 20 years. Ranchito Cascabel is a quantum leap from his original idea of building a warehouse for his bicycles, and a gathering place and fun park for his children.
The Ranchito Cascabel has been published in architectural books, well-known magazines, such as VICE in Spanish, and major newspapers, such as the LA Times.
